Sweatshirt Chic : Keeping Warm For Outdoor Dining

Hey lovelies,

So lockdown is finally easing in the UK....yay! 

But at the moment we have to stick to outdoor venues, so pub gardens, courtyards and outdoor dining only and the weather is not the best...boo!

So I recently had an evening out for dinner and I have found the perfect outfit for outdoor dining when then weather is decidedly chilly for spring.

A gorgeous sweatshirt from independent brand Skarch & Co, who have the most fabulous collection of fun and quirky women's wear. I opted for the personalised sweatshirt with my initial in black and leopard. You know how much I love black, I adore leopard and can't beat a classic sweatshirt, this is literally the three in one... it was meant to 'B'!

I layered the look with a Uniqlo Heatech thermal long sleeved top underneath. I can't rave about these enough, I wear them under everything when the weather is chilly, seriously one of my best ever buys. I also opted for black dressy combats from Zara, and I tucked in the sweatshirt which adds a casual chic look to the outfit. 

Heeled black ankle booties completed the going out look, and also meant I was able to wear thermal socks and kept my feet toasty warm. It was so good to be back in heels after living in slippers and trainers during lockdown, I felt on top of the world...literally!

Luckily the restaurant I visited also had cosy blankets on hand and it was so good to be out in the real world, having a meal prepared by someone else, and supporting the hospitality industry who have suffered so badly during lockdown. I felt incredibly grateful for something I totally took for granted before lockdown, and here's to more 'normal' returning!
