Moonpig Virtual Event : Cocktails, Flowers and Fun

Hasn't tech been a lifesaver during the Coronavirus lockdown? Able to connect with family, friends and work colleagues online over Hangouts, Facetime and Zoom has kept us all connected while being apart.

That's why I was so excited to be invited to my first ever virtual bloggers meet with the lovely peeps at Moonpig.com. (and I defy anyone to say Moonpig.com without singing it, you know you did!)

Moonpig.com are the perfect example of how we can embrace tech to keep our wonderful traditions going. Being able to choose a card online from hundreds of designs for all occasions, personalise it with a message and photos and have it delivered straight to the door of your loved ones is a perfect way to show them you are thinking of them and brighten their day. So important at a time like this when we can't be there in person to celebrate those birthdays, anniversaries and special moments. 

So along with a group of lovely bloggers, we dialled in from our homes and had a wonderful evening of fun, learning about the Moonpig App to personalise greetings cards using your own photos, set reminders (so useful!) and even add your own handwritten note and signature, see.. tech really  is amazing!

Of course I had to feature Queen Ermajean in my card!

We then had a fabulous Cocktail Masterclass with James from Mix & Twist UK, where we made 3 amazing cocktails...and sampled them of course! A Gin Garden, Elderflower Collins and Strawberry Gimlet...so hard to choose a favourite but I think the Strawberry Gimlet just edged it with the wow factor!

And then we turned to the glorious Summer Bouquet that Moonpig had kindly sent to us, and the super talented Roxanne gave us a flower arranging class. We were shown how to prep, trim and arrange a bouquet to show the flowers at their best, and tips to keep them blooming for weeks.

Thank you to Moonpig for a fabulous evening spent with some lovely people, definitely the most fun I've had since lockdown!
