Girls In The Hoodie : Over 40 Style

Hello lovelies, 

Happy New Year and here's to a beautiful and blessed 2020!

For New Year I prefer to set challenges rather than make (and break!) resolutions,  and one of mine this year is explore my own city more. And so here I am in the business district of Leeds on one of the quiet days at the weekend, dressed for comfort... this is definitely not business attire!

Now if you're wondering if you can wear a hoodie over the age of 40, let me say 'of course'! I'm a huge believer in wearing whatever you want regardless of age. And I love hoodies! They are surprisingly versatile too, obviously here I've styled it with athleisure leggings and trainers, but equally I wear hoodies with mom jeans and an oversized blazer or with leather leggings and a faux fur coat. 

This hoodie is from Uniqlo which is a brand I'm fairly new to, and I have to say I'm very impressed. It's gorgeously soft and oversized, has pockets on the side rather than front which I like, less bulk over my tum! A great graphic print and embroidered detailing to the hood. It's those little extra details that elevate an item.
