Christmas Festivities at Harewood House : 'A Night At The Mansion'
Hello lovelies and welcome to December, that most magical of months.
The festivities are well and truly underway, and I was lucky enough to spend a magical day at gorgeous Harewood House for their Christmas extravaganza.
Harewood House, a Grade I listed stately home between Leeds and Harrogate, has the most stunning gardens and interior year round, which take on extra sparkle at this time of year. This Christmas event this year is entitled 'Night At The Mansion', and as you walk through the doors you are whisked back in time to a Victorian Christmas. But look closely and you will find something more. Designed by acclaimed artists Davy and Kirstin McGuire, prepare to be amazed by the magical light installations that bring statues, paintings, ceilings and every nook and cranny to life!
I don't want to spoil the surprise too much, but if you are a fan of Harry Potter and all things magical, then you will adore 'Night At The Mansion' at Harewood House! Be sure to visit if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed. In fact I loved is so much I went back again with my daughter and grandaughter a couple of days later!

Both upstairs in the state rooms, and below stairs in the huge kitchen every room is lovingly decorated with breathtaking attention to detail. And be sure to spend the whole day, as you can also explore the gardens and even visit the main man himself, Father Christmas, who along with Mrs Christmas has taken up residence in The Terrace Cottage in the gardens.
